For some reason, Thursday is always a good day for me. I am always in a good mood for no reason and just happy to be wherever I am. So this morning when I was getting ready for work, I knew I wanted to dress up a little. Sometimes I am just not in the mood for heels, but today was definitely not one of those days, so I obviously had to take advantage! I felt inspired by my striped dress to go the nautical route. I paired the easy dress with a chunky chain statement necklace and a neon-accented straw handbag for a pop of fun. I opted for plain nude wedges, as I already had enough going on for one look.

I never really thought about putting nautical and neon together until I was getting dressed this morning. Isn’t it great to just go in your closet and stare at your clothes until you feel inspired? What a great way to start the day.
