Get Bikini Ready with Exhale

The older I get, the more I realize I need to work out to stay in shape. I think it’s pretty safe to say that’s the case for everyone. So while I have successfully avoided working out for years now, I’ve decided it’s time to get movin’. And it’s perfect timing because Exhale Spa just opened a new location at the brand new Avalon in Alpharetta, a shopping center area that I absolutely love!
I’m not usually a gym person. I don’t like working out in front of people, but if I don’t have someone showing me what to do, I won’t do it. So classes are the way to go for me. I’m super excited to try out the classes at the new Exhale Avalon because I feel like the crowd in the ‘burbs won’t be as harsh, ya feel me? They offer classes like barre and yoga – the only two workouts I can actually see myself enjoying. And what’s even better is that Exhale Avalon is offering FREE CLASSES next week!! Some lists are full but there is still some space available. Hurry before it’s too late!
Oh and if you’re in town, be sure to check out the upcoming event!
Do you enjoy fitness classes? Which types are your favorites?

Dance classes are my favourite. Yoga I feel I can do at home via Youtube but actual dance classes are harder to follow just on screen.

Yeah that’s very true. Plus you need a lot more space for dancing! 🙂

Yoga has been my go-to since I graduated college and joined the ‘real world.’ Such a great stress reliever! That and wine of course!

So true!! I’ve been choosing the wine over yoga too much lately as my stress reliever! Ha!

I’ve been dying to go check out The Avalon! I’m also thinking about renewing my gym membership and actually going again. I used to love going to Zumba classes at LA Fitness. There’s also a new Body Works class i’ve been wanting to go to!

I love switching it up at the gym! Some days I weight lift, other days I’m busy swimming! My favorite fitness class is by far BodyCombat — I love the high intense cardio paired with some butt-kicking movies!
Cheers,

Ooh swimming is a good one! I tried kick boxing once in high school. I think I would really like it!

I love fitness classes! If I’m exercising on my own and get tired, I’ll just call it a day, but if I’m in a class surrounded by people, I’ll keep going so I don’t look like the lame weak one. :p
I’ll do any class I can get to, but I prefer spinning and ashtanga yoga.

That’s such a good point. I definitely stop so much sooner when I’m home alone too!

I love workout classes, but, like you, I hate going to the gym alone. I don’t know how to do anything! I would love to get a personal trainer or something. I do enjoy the classes though. I haven’t gone to the gym in way too long!

I would love a personal trainer! I wish I could just have one come to my house…for free. Lol

I absolutely LOVE Exhale. I’ve searched far and wide in Atlanta for the best classes – and nothing is like Core Fusion! Great post!

I’m not much of a class person: working out on my own is my style. I began Nordic walking a year ago and LOVE it! I get out at least 3 times a week on that. After a year of private sessions I have been doing mat Pilates several times each week as well. And finally, I do free weights a coule of times each week.

I don’t know what that is, but it sounds like something I’d like! I would totally be cool with just walking for like 30 minutes a day as my regular exercise.

I’ve never taken a fitness class besides in college but I’d love to try one! I can’t afford a gym membership so I’ve just been doing indoor challenges (i live in Massachusetts where we just got 3 feet of snow and then another 20 inches yesterday) but I’ve been doing the 30 day plank challenge and a burpee challenge ….. I wish I had a body like you tho! I used to before 2 kids but hopefully with a little work I’ll be back in shape!
