One of my favorite things about fashion is its cyclic nature. I love how vintage items can come back to be trendy again and the feeling that dressing retro brings. It’s just so fun. I recently got some amazing 70s style jeans and couldn’t resist going with the whole 60s/70s look. I attempted the half up pouf with the long bangs for my hair & added an exaggerated cateye to complete it all.

We’ve been having some unexpected weather here in Atlanta lately. Last week, I took the dogs out before bed and it was freezing. It got me excited for fall, but at the same time, it’s really confusing to decide what to wear when the weather is so unpredictable. I think jeans and a sleeveless top is the way to go.

I’ve found that the trick to wearing these type of jeans is to wear them with heels. I wore the highest ones I own and I love the way it turned out. I paired the bell bottoms with a cream floral lace top (also seen here) that totally reminds me of a boho 70s flower child. And then I grabbed my go to summer bag. The color just goes with everything, so I never have to think twice.

Are you a fan of 70s style?
