There’s something so incredibly chic about the absence of color. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good bright photo or a pop of pink every now and then, but most of the time, I’m all about clean, simple neutrals – and nothing is more simple than black and white.

I love how this look turned out. It’s a little different than what I usually wear, which I love. I just got this hat from Shopbop and I am obsessed. We all know I love hats, but this one is so different than any others I have. The material is very high quality and there’s a piece of wire inside the edge of the brim so I can shape it exactly how I want. Don’t be surprised if I wear this hat way too often.

It’s so strange to not have to wear a coat lately – I haven’t even needed a jacket this week! This past weekend it got up to 68 and it has stayed in the high 60s so far this week. It has been amazing. This warmer weather makes me even more excited for spring since it seems like it’s actually within reach now. Let’s just hope it stays!

I also wanted to mention an app I came across over the weekend. It’s call WEAR and it’s a great place to share your looks with fellow fashion lovers. You can draw inspiration from users all over the world as well as connect with like-minded tastemakers. You can even find out exactly where to buy the pieces users share – how amazing is that?! Download the app here and be sure to follow me so I can follow back!

Do you still need to wear a coat where you live?
