The Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland was by far my favorite tourist spot we visited in Northern Ireland. Though it is just a bunch of trees, the beauty is seriously breathtaking. When we got there, there was a couple taking their wedding photos. Talk about a perfect backdrop! As we drove along the road under the dark hedges, we blasted the Game of Thrones theme song. Sorry not sorry. The Dark Hedges is called The King’s Road in GoT.

We had to take advantage of where we were by taking tons of photos. I got this scarf at a little shop that we randomly stopped at on the way to the Cliffs of Moher so I of course had to wear it while I was in Ireland. It was made there, after all! I wore a simple sweater and jeans with my new merlot booties. I’ve been wearing these shoes nonstop already – they’re great for a summer to fall transition and will definitely be worn well into fall.

My sister and I always do this holding hand pose everywhere we go. We started it back in like 2008 or 2009. We didn’t have anyone to take the photo here, so we just put it on the ground with the timer. I think it turned out pretty well!

Do you watch Game of Thrones?
