I’m totally guilty of using the same products and colors over and over again the exact same way every time I put makeup on. I’ve found something that works, but there’s no denying it can get very boring. Makeup should be fun and an expression of personality, mood, and style. So one of my beauty goals is to start switching things up a bit. Lipstick is such an easy way to do that. And what better time than a new season? There are so many options for a good fall lipstick.
Since I’m just taking baby steps, I didn’t want to splurge on high-end brands or designer beauty. Instead, I headed to my local Target and raided the beauty section. I got a variety of shades and finishes, from creamy nude to matte chocolate brown – and all definitely fall lipstick colors. It was so much fun to try something new!
Instead of taking photos of each lipstick, I did a video. You might have noticed that I’ve been creating more videos lately. I was in denial for a while, but video is the way of the future, so I jumped on board! In fact, I even hired a new team member, Paola, to help me! Check it out below:

I found all the lipsticks I used here at Target and bought them myself. This is not sponsored in any way, but Target, if you wanna holla..I’m down. Anyway, check out the lipsticks I used are:
Fall Lipsticks under $10
This perfect (for me) nude is creamy with the slightest touch of pink. Perfect for those days you’re going for a more natural and subtle look. And will totally work year round!
This red creamy lip stain was actually slightly pinker than I expected. Looking at the photo here, you can see the pink hue; it’s definitely more of a candy apple than a fire engine red!
I love this deep red flat velvet lip color! I used it for my Cruella makeup look and it was perfect. This red definitely packs a punch and makes a big impact!
I was honestly so surprised by how much I actually liked this brown lipstick! It was my first time trying a shade like this and I was not disappointed. It’s warm and velvety – just like hot chocolate!
This dark purple lip was so much fun to play with. It is definitely way darker than I ever imagined going but it was fun to try. I’ll probably keep this one to use during Halloween (maybe for my upcoming pirate makeup look?!).
What lipstick colors do you like wearing in the fall?

yes boo yessssssssss! I love all these picks……I’m also totally guilty of sticking to the same makeup since I found what I love. I never branch out because anytime I try something new i usually hate it so the thought of spending money on expensive stuff I may hate turns me off.
FYI that midnight color is my favorite …..I love it on you! I always feel like i’m too pale for those dark shades. Once color I did find that I loved that was pricey but worth it was Chanel Le Rouge in the color Ever Red! Literally perfection!

Exactly!! That’s why these drugstore picks were sooo perfect for trying out new shades! And thank you! I love that one too. Omg, I don’t think you’re too pale at all! I feel like deep berry colors on fairer skin are GORG. You should try mine to see how you like it!

I’m that crazy girl who hasn’t worn lipstick in years. Mostly, because I always forget – but also because I’m allergic to so many lipsticks (sigh). I’ll have to look into some of these because I honestly miss what it brings to my face haha!

Oh man! What a pain. Have you tried cleaner beauty brands to see if that makes a difference? I think a deep color would look so nice on you!

These shades are all gorgeous and I love that you picked affordable options! I mostly wear nudes and mauve shades in the fall, I may need to try the brown shade you suggested, it’s very pretty!
