One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to enjoy some bites and drinks al fresco. I love quenching my thirst with fresh, fruity flavors. I always find myself mixing whatever I have in the kitchen to come up with these summer concoctions, so I thought I’s share one of my favorites so far:
You’ll Need:
- 2.5oz Lemon Lime Sparkling Water
- .5oz Blueberry Vodka
- 1 Lemon
- 3-4 Blackberries
- 2-3 Mint Leaves
- 1 Lemon-flavored Crystalized Sugar Stick
To Make the Drink:
Wash all fruits. Drop the blackberries into your glass and throw the mint leaves on top. Using your sugar stick, muddle the the blackberries and mint for about 10 seconds. Now cut your lemon in half. Use one half for the juice by squeezing it into your glass. Slice a piece off the other half to use later as garnish. Pour in ย your vodka and water. Use the sugar stick to stir the flavors together. Garnish with lemon slice.
And that’s it! I love how super easy ย it is to make fun, fruity cocktails.
What is your favorite summer drink?

Mojitos are typically my summer go to, but I like to mix citrus-y drinks (fresh squeezed lemonade, ironically) with some gin and make a slush with crushed ice!
