With fashion week right around the corner, celebrities, trendsetters and bloggers alike will be headed to New York City to participate in the festivities. We’ve all had our fashion week outfits picked out for ages, but what about our travel attire?
Choosing what to wear for your flight can be difficult since you want to be comfortable while avoiding looking like a slob. After all, life is a runway–especially when traveling to our country’s fashion capital!
Celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Lauren Conrad and Rachel Bilson have mastered the art of airport style. Comfy casual pieces like jeans, t-shirts and boots are key when it comes to traveling. I opt for closed-toe flats instead of boots since we are now required to take our shoes off at security–it’s just easier. It is also smart to bring some sort of outwear to be prepared for any weather changes or for ensured comfort on the plane.
Here’s what I’ll be wearing today as I travel to NYC:
Do you like these comfortable looks? What do you wear to the airport?

I’m wearing something comfortable as well, mostly jean leggings with a big t-shirt and sneakers. I do prefer a backpack, because I find it much more practical than a tote bag. Nice post!

Yes, a backpack would have been perfect! I wish I would have thought of that before I traveled. Next time!
