Always a Bridesmaid

I think my favorite color to wear has to be white. It makes sense because my favorite color in general is white. It’s just so clean and beautiful. I feel like when I’m wearing something simple like a white dress, I’m wearing the clothes, the clothes aren’t wearing me, which is something that’s very important to me. But I have to be careful. Not only because white can get dirty easily and I’m one of the messiest/clumsiest people ever, but also because I have tons of friends engaged and getting married soon, which means I can’t wear white to any of those events.

This weekend I’m heading to New York to attend my friend’s bridal shower and also to celebrate my other friend’s engagement. White is pretty much banned for me for the whole weekend, but as I plan my outfits, I can’t help but pick white pieces. This is going to be so hard! I think some shopping is in order. So before I head off to NYC, I’m wearing my white clothes here in Atlanta.

Yesterday I wore this pretty white dress and Johnny jumped at the opportunity to shoot it during golden hour. When we have an outfit that lets the sun shine through, we both get super excited to snap photos and this one was no exception. I decided to add some color with my new blue heels and kept the jewelry simple with my summer go-to necklace that I designed with TAudrey Jewelry. I love how this look turned out and I’ll definitely be wearing this dress throughout the summer. Only at those non-wedding related events, of course.
