A couple weeks ago, my Adorn co-founder Lauren and I threw a whimsical garden-themed dinner party here in Atlanta for some of our tastemakers. We were so excited to spend some time with like-minded ladies and completely thrilled with how everything turned out.
For the decor, we were very resourceful, picking up gold candlesticks from Goodwill and moss & candles from the Dollar Tree (totally my guilty pleasure – I love that place!). A few things were from Target and everything else we brought from home. We were very pleased with how it all turned out for such a low cost.
We started the evening with wine & cocktails made by Rachel of Deliciowhso, who catered the entire dinner (she was amazing!). After about a half hour of chatting and instagramming, all the ladies sat down to dine. The family style dinner was fabulous & I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Finally, my favorite part (besides hanging with the cool Atlanta tastemakers!) was the dessert. Rachel made homemade vanilla ice cream from scratch that we served in mini china teacups, topped off with a coffee chocolate chip cookie. I mean, talk about heavenly! It was simply divine and the perfect ending to a great night.
In the end, it was so gorgeous and everyone had a fabulous time. I’m already looking forward to our next event!
Have you ever attended a garden themed dinner party?

I love the decor! Especially the bar cart and mason jars for drinks. Adds character and a beautiful vintage touch.

Well, this looks perfect. I’m so excited about my own increasing numbers…mainly so I can be accepted as a tastemaker, myself! I’ll bring Texas caviar and Oreo cookie bark, so I swear it’ll be a good time.
