An Electric Winter Night

Spending time with friends is just the best, isn’t it? I recently moved into a new apartment in the heart of Atlanta and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s just so much more convenient for everything, especially hanging with friends. My home has become the center of the action for social gatherings, work meetings, and casual hangouts.

To kick off December and the holiday season, I decided to have a little get together with a couple blogger friends. Danasia of TheUrbanRealist and Alex of Darling in the City stopped by for a cozy girls night in. It’s so funny, we didn’t plan it, but we all ended up wearing black! We actually ended up going out after this even though we planned to stay in. Sometimes we just can’t help it – there’s a spark that happens when we’re all together – leading to nights with unexpected connections and true social electricity.

For our girls night, I created my own special cocktail: an apple cider moscow mule made with Absolut Original Vodka. Moscow mules are my go-to drink. I always order it when I’m out and I always make it at home when I have the ingredients. I totally love it.

Inspired by the limited edition Absolut Electrik bottle, I decided to put a wintry holiday spin on the drink by adding some sparkling apple cider. Full recipe coming soon! Until then, cheers!
