I’ve lived in Atlanta for ten years now, and I’ve always said the city is lacking in fun, daytime activities. More specifically, happy hour and rooftops. Coming from Florida, we’re all about a good day drinking session whether at hotels with rooftop pools, or a dive bar on the beach. I’ve been searching for rooftop bars Atlanta for years with no results, and Atlanta rooftop restaurants are lacking…until now! I’m so excited to discover the brand new Rooftop LOA, complete with a pool, bar, restaurant, grove, and event space. Not to mention the option for a poolside cabana! We finally have a fabulous, luxurious rooftop in Atlanta! An oasis in the city.

LOA is located in West Midtown atop the Interlock. The area is bustling with activities, restaurants, and more so options are aplenty. But time and time again, I will choose LOA. You really don’t feel like you’re in Atlanta when you’re on the rooftop, though the almost 360 views prove otherwise, overlooking the cityscape. In addition to the rooftop pool, LOA offers one of the only rooftop restaurants in Atlanta.

If you’re looking for a more typical style of a rooftop bar in Atlanta, LOA offers that as well. Next to the LOA pool, you will find the Grove. Reminiscent of California cool with touches of high-end details like firepits, this rooftop lounge area is the perfect spot to relax with a beer or glass of sauvignon blanc. It’s completely separated from the pool area, creating a dreamy ambiance for mingling Atlantans.

Finally, you’ll find the Atlanta rooftop restaurant indoors with a striking view of Atlanta: our classic southern combination of greenery and cityscape. LOA restaurant aptly serves Coastal-European, mirroring the oasis-like style of the rooftop pool and grove. With dishes like squid ink pasta, Wagyu tomahawk ribeye, and Taleggio fondue, there’s something for everyone in a group – even the vegetarians!

Since it’s summer, I’m most excited about the rooftop pool, but I also can’t believe we finally have a rooftop restaurant in Atlanta. It’s about time! When it comes to rooftop bars Atlanta, LOA has it all. The Grove is such a perfect option to unwind in the evening into the night, and the event space looks heavenly. Hope to see you there!
