Denim is one of those staples that no one can get away without owning. The comfy & flattering go-to is a must for any girl. But we all know how horrid it can be to find the special one. You go through tons of duds that love to point out flaws and just don’t make you feel as good as you should. There’s a longing feeling and you know there’s something better out there. There has to be. Ok, I’m getting a little carried away. But the search for the one can be tough.
I used to have this amazing pair of jeans that I wore at least 3 times/week. They were perfect. But eventually, all that wear caught up to me and they ended up with several holes. Now I can’t find them and I still think about them all the time. But I think I might have found their replacement. I must admit, I wasn’t familiar with until this collab. The girls and I all got to pick a colored pair from their instasculpt line and I was floored when I put them on.

At first, they looked TINY. I’m petite, but they definitely looked way too small. I was glad to see that these jeans really stretch a lot and they did fit perfectly, so I’d say they’re true to size. The rise is just high enough to perfectly sculpt the waist, but still very comfortable. And the ankles. My biggest pet peeve when it comes to pants is when the ankle is baggy–and it almost always is. I mean, why would I buy skinny jeans if I really wanted boot cut? That’s right, I wouldn’t. Ugh. But anyway, the ankle on these is perfectly tight, but not difficult to put on or take off. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with these and I definitely plan on getting more denim.
Where did you get your favorite pair of jeans?

They’re actually just coated denim, but they definitely have that leather look! I have some jeans from AE too (I posted about them a couple weeks ago!) and I love those too. There’s nothing better than a good pair of jeans! 🙂

I’ve never heard of DL1961 either, but I love all of the looks on all 4 of you! These sound like they’re truly skinny jeans if they look small and stretch enough to fit comfortably. I love that! Also in love with your coat. It screams fall!

I love these jeans! I have never heard of the brand before so they’re new-to-me but I want to try them!! My go-to denim is normally Citizens of Humanity but I just got an AG pair that I love! I’m trying to branch out more!

I so love jeans with good stretch and I suddenly feel like these are the most perfect pair of black jeans ever. Seriously loving how you styled them. I have a pair of red jeans that are almost burgundy (caught somewhere in the middle) but I clearly need a solid pair of burgundy jeans after seeing how Jessica and Tiffany rocked it. xx

My fave jeans are my Page ankle length skinnies in a medium wash. They’re the comfiest with just the right amount of stretch, and they’re always flattering. I just got a pair of boyfriend fit distressed jeans from J. Crew that are quickly gaining a place in the rotation as well.
Also- Hi from a fellow Atlantan! Glad to know your style posts will be on point with the weather down here, this blog is certainly going to be a new go-to for me!
