Whether you’re single, dating, in a relationship or married, I think it’s really important to take the time to get  up for a date night. Even if it’s a date with yourself! Getting dressed up and pretty is one of my favorite things about being me. I love exploring my style and playing with makeup techniques, so when I get to strut my stuff for date night, it’s like all my hard work has paid off.

So for this installment of the Atlanta Style Series Summer Edition, the girls and I have dressed up for date night with the help of Lulu’s, Sole Society, and Sweet & Spark. I chose a style of dress I don’t normally wear, just to switch it up a bit. The faux leather panels combined the with higher neckline and mini style skirt make it a sexy, yet still classy date night look, which is totally what I’m all about!

You might also notice that I’ve been sporting some upper arm jewels lately. Well, as a petite woman, it can be hard to find things that fit–even jewelry–so after a few too many bracelets had to be given away due to their large size, it just came to me: why don’t I wear it above the elbow? It worked for this Sweet & Spark piece and it also worked for another bracelet I wore earlier this week. It’s totally my new thing!
