One of the things I love about Mexico City is the vibrancy – not only in their culture, but also visually. There are beautiful colors everywhere and so I dressed accordingly while there. I brought lots of colorful clothes, some white pieces, and patterns. But my favorite piece that I brought (by far!) was this . I wore it to a few different places since we did so many things that day, and I actually went from heels to flats, which is what I wore here.
The dress is a maxi, which means for little ole me, it drags on the ground if I’m not wearing heels (and sometimes even if I am!), so I decided to tie it up so I wouldn’t have to hold it. I actually really like the way it looks. I felt very tropical-cool. I slipped on my new shoes from Zara, which totally fueled the vibrant, tropical vibes. These shoes really aren’t my usual style, but I absolutely love them. And they’re so perfect for Mexico! I’ll definitely be wearing them a lot this summer.
The final touch was the , which was the one Lauren brought for the day. I just had to carry it though because it just went perfectly with the whole look! And when we saw this pretty blue wall, we had to stop for photos. Can you believe this is actually the wall to a bathroom?! LOL! Mexico City really is just so full of beauty. Can’t wait to share the city guide with you!
