As some of you might know, I am a Florida girl who moved to Atlanta a little over a year ago. Last winter was my first real winter experience (and fall, for that matter). In south Florida, we simply do not have seasons. It is warm year ’round and you can lay out almost every single day of the year. So needless to say, I was out of my element last year when I had to buy my very first winter coat.
But last year’s winter was nothing compared to this year’s. The winter of 2012 was often described as mild, so this year, I am bundling up even more. Since I bought my first coat last year, I decided to buy a few more so I could have some winter options. After all, the coat is the first thing people see! I decided my new plan will be to invest in one beautiful, high quality coat each year so I can slowly build my wardrobe.
{coat: riffraff // faux leather leggings: h&m // shoes: old, similar }
This year, I went with this furry beauty from Riffraff. I have always wanted a faux fur coat, but up until now, I never needed one. This chic, wintry favorite does an amazing job not only of keeping me warm, but also keeping me on trend and stylish! It’s such a score when you can find a piece that is both functional and fashionable. I seriously love this white faux fur coat! Yay for Riffraff!
And don’t forget that you can get 10% off your order from ShopRiffraff.com with code ‘LUSHTOBLUSH’!
How do you survive winter temps? Do you have a faux fur coat?

I love this furry coat! The color is such a nice contrast to all of the darker coats you typically see in winter. I’m in a similar situation you are – I just moved to California from Ohio so my winters are very different now, as well! haha.
Great post! Love your style!

Girl, you better watch out. If you keep looking so drop dead gorgeous in all these outfit posts, you’re going to start getting hit on by random internet creepers. Don’t say I didn’t warn you 😉
Great post though ♥
