After browsing tons of options for places to stay in Bali, one thing became very clear: I was going to have a flower bath in Bali. I’ve seen photos of flowers baths before and always thought they looked amazing. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be immersed in beautiful flowers?! But to be honest, I didn’t really know about this Bali flower bath thing until I saw it on all the hotel sites. Once I found out, I was set on it!

All my Bali flower bath dreams came true at Sankara Suites. Not only did they have a soaking tub on the private terrace (next to the private pool), but they also had this amazingly gorgeous setup at the spa there, which overlooks the jungle and a beautiful flowing river. I was in heaven! Unfortunately, we didn’t have as much time to enjoy it as I would have liked, but at least we got these gorgeous photos!

One thing I didn’t really think about is the scent. The flowers actually smelled so so good, which made the experience that much more enjoyable and special. Another surprise: the water was not hot. Since it’s extremely hot in Bali, they just use room temp water. To be honest, I would have preferred at least warm water, but that’s probably just me. I think some spa packages include massages before the flower bath, which would have been perfect!

It really was such a unique and special experience and made our Bali trip that much more memorable. If you have the opportunity, I would definitely recommend a flower bath in Bali!
