Well, as you can see, I have purchased the most basic blogger item of the moment: the captain’s hat. I’m not always one for trendy items, but I love hats and this one is no exception. I love that it’s different from anything else I’ve worn in the past, and it adds just a chic touch to any look.
I wore it here with a very simple black t-shirt dress. To add some interest, I wore a belt around my waist. It’s meant to sit at the hips, so I had to tie it around. Too bad I don’t have a Gucci belt, then I’d really be winning the blogger game! I kind of want to get this fake one, but I can never bring myself to buy knock-offs! Oh well, the GG bag will have to do, ha. I really wanted to wear some black pointed toe booties, but I don’t have any (tear), so I went to my closet and started going through all my shoes.
I landed on these shoes and they’re years old, but I’m so glad I still have them! I don’t wear them often, but I love the look. Sometimes having too many shoes makes you neglect some you love! Anyway, the shoes are the only piece in this outfit that’s over $20. Can you believe that?! Well, I mean besides the bag. I’m so proud of myself when I find deals like this though! So glad I have a place to share!

I love this fit! My go to color this winter is black and I’ve been rocking my biker knee-high boots with a pants and dresses and focusing on accessories! 🙂

Really love how you went all out for the classic staples! Everyone needs each of these pieces in their wardrobe, and even together they all mesh so well. Simplicity at it finest! Plus, any outfit with a baker boy hat is just that much better.
