Hmm, maybe I’ve been watching too many episodes of Game of Thrones? I guess calling it a battle is a little extreme, but there are seriously so many planners out there and most of them are pretty great for planning and organization. So how can a girl choose just one? Well, the good news is, you don’t have to. But whether you want one of many, I’m breaking down the pros and cons of my personal faves here.

The Day Designer is one of the most popular planners around and the planner I used last year. It was great! But to tell you the truth, I don’t have extra time (or the desire) to write down all my hopes, goals and aspirations. The reason I need a planner is to keep track of my tasks and organize all the jumbled thoughts I have going in my head at 1,000 mph. So I don’t think I really used the Day Designer to its full potential. Plus I want to expand my horizons, so I’m trying 3 new planners out. Here are my thoughts:

1. Happy Everything Planner {mini}
This colorful planner is great for planning your week. While the larger size does offer a day view, I really like that the mini has the week view. This is perfect for blog planning. I like to make sure my blog content has a nice balance week so week, so I’ll definitely be using this one for my blogging ed cal.

2. XO Planner
This one is definitely my favorite as far as design. Although I do also love super simple aesthetics, there’s something special about XO’s modern & edgy design that draws me in. It’s clean, but full of style. As far as functionality, this daily format is great. It’s broken down by schedule, to do’s, to post, don’t forget, brilliant ideas, inspiration, health, a water reminder (which I totally need!!) and notes. This planner is great for scheduling calls or meetings, jotting down reminders, and getting your day organized. I think I’ll use it for Adorn!

3. The Simplified Planner
As the name says, this planner is super simple, which I love. There’s a place to put your tasks for the day (week view format), a to do list and that’s it. Done and done. I’m thinking I’ll use this one for travel plans. Since I travel for work, I need to schedule my itinerary ahead of time. The Simplified Planner will be great for that, plus it’s the thinnest of the 3 and will take up the least space in my carry-on. Perfect!

Which planner do you use?
