This weekend, I was “lucky” enough (teehee) the attend the Lucky FABB blogger conference. I came out to Los Angeles for the event and the experience has been lots of fun. The night before the event, Lucky Mag put on a soiree complete with hair stylists and cocktails. I headed over with my blogging buddies Lauren and Johnnalynn. For this event, I went with a Tibi maxi from Rent the Runway. Rent the Runway is so fab for events. It works out perfectly because designer duds are a must for fashion events, yet I wouldn’t really want to wear the same thing again (especially after snapping some photos!).
This dress was so great because it’s kind of in between a casual maxi and a floor length gown. The fabric and design are high end, but the cut and open back make it more laid back. I paired this dress with simple jewels from Henri Bendel and Tatum Bradley Co. This was my first time wearing Tibi and I loved it! I have used Rent the Runway before though. My experience with the company is always great. I used it last year for New Years as well as my birthday. And I’ll definitely be trying it again!
Have you ever used Rent the Runway?

I love that dress and you look absolutely gorgeous! I’ve thought about using Rent the Runway multiple times, but never followed through. Seems like a completely logical thing to do though for events (like you said 🙂 )!

I am a campus representative for Rent The Runway, and I think they are one of the most amazing companies that exist today. Can’t wait to see more pictures from your fabulous events. PS – this Tibi is so #styleilike. HCXO!

I’ve never used it, but I’ve heard great things! After her birthday dinner, a friend of mine found a picture of Kate Middleton – yes, THE Kate – wearing the same frock for a social of hers…definitely not a bad person to be caught mimicking!
Love the back of your maxi!
April 9, 2014 @ 7:11 pm
OMG I just love Kate’s style! That must have been so cool for your friend! 🙂
