My Birthday & Christmas Wish List

WOOHOOOOOO!!! It’s my birthday month!!! Yes, I’m one of those annoying people that likes to celebrate the whole month. Growing up, my birthday was always overshadowed by Christmas. And to make it worse, my sister’s birthday is just 5 days after mine, taking the whole “oh, this is your birthday AND Christmas gift” to a whole other level. Instead of 4 gifts, we got 1 combo bday/xmas gift to share. It sounds bratty to think that we were very annoyed by this, but kids will be kids I guess.
So anyway, it seems as though as I grew up, I decided to make up for all the lost attention & simply celebrate my birthday month. I will say that my mom did try to make an effort to make our birthdays special every year. The whole family would always gather in the morning to wake the birthday girl or boy up by singing Happy Birthday & serving them breakfast in bed. My sister and I still do this for each other when we’re together for our birthdays. But I keep losing track.
Let’s just get to the point: here’s my birthday and Christmas wish list for the year. Be to be honest, I just want to spend time with my friends & family (some money for student loan payments wouldn’t hurt either), but for the sake of birthday fun, here’s my wish list. Hopefully it will spark an idea for a gift for someone you love!
1. Sequin Maxi
I have been searching for the perfect sequin maxi for over a year now and I think I found it on Etsy. This gorgeous skirt can be made to your measurements (which I definitely need!) and comes in a few different stunning color options. I seriously need it.
2. Gold Bow
How adorable is this bow for winter time? I think this would be so cute up in a bun, but facing the back, so kind of like a hidden surprise! The gold glitter makes it pretty versatile for a fun pop of pretty. It also comes in 3 sizes and if you use code SANTABABY you can get 25% off on purchases over $30!
3.
This bag is just the epitome of class to me. It is very simple & timeless, which is totally my style. Plus, it’s the only way I could possibly rationalize spending that much on a bag – it can go with everything and will last a lifetime.
4. Nespresso Vertuoline
Although I JUST got my very own, this thing has been on my list for years. It is the perfect gift for a coffee lover like me. And if you’re really looking to spend the big bucks, throw in a coffee pod subscription to keep your coffee lover stocked all year!
5. A Dermalogica (or ) Gift Card
After recently becoming very sensitive to lots of skin care products, I’ve found that is the only brand that works for me. I love everything about them, except the price, so a gift card would be perfect since I’ll always need to refill eventually. Dermalogica is available at , where they also offer skin treatments, so an ULTA gift card would be great in case I need to get more of something else as well!
What’s on your holiday wish list this year?

Well, for starters, Happy Birthday!! And I totally get what you mean about it getting lumped in with Christmas. My son’s birthday is the 29th and although we try our best, they do get sort of combined inevitably! That Givenchy bag has been on my wish list forever! You’re right…it’s so timeless and classic…definitely an investment piece. And I’m sooo jealous that you have the Nespresso! I’m a huge coffee lover so this would be Heaven on Earth for me!
