Hello LA! I came to LA this week to visit my sister and one of my best friends who just found out she’s pregnant (congrats Arielle!). I come to LA quite often and I always love it so much when I do. The weather is so perfect and being with Bridgette and Arielle is always the best.

I’ll be honest, when I’m at my sister’s place, we usually just sit around and binge watch TV shows. I mean, is there anything better? This time we watched Ozark. I’m almost done! But one night we decided to venture out and check out trivia night at a local bar.

I decided to wear this black maxi with pink flowers. Was I overdressed? Yes. But I can promise you it wasn’t the first time, and it certainly won’t be the last. Anyway, I love this dress for summer to fall transition wear. The color works great into fall but the breeziness was perfect for August in LA.

I wore these pink tie-up mules for the first time. How perfect are they with this dress?! The strap around the back did keep falling off though, so I think I need to figure out a new way to wear them. I got the pretty bracelet in a surprise package from Charming Charlie, and they totally nailed it. I love this bracelet! How cool is the pretty dangling chain and stone?! They also sent some tassel earrings that I should have worn, but I forgot. Oops!

I love wearing maxis almost year round, so I pulled together some favorite options for summer to fall transition!
