Every once in a while, I get bored with working from home. Don’t get me wrong–it’s the most amazing thing in the world–but as someone who constantly needs something new, a change in scenery of the everyday is much appreciated. Earlier this week I decided to explore the downtown area in my small Alabama hometown. I was pleasantly surprised. There was so much charm and I stocked up on some pretty pics for Instagram after walking around and capturing the quaint area.

I finally settled at this little coffee shop cafe and began working. While it is definitely chilly here, it’s actually not too cold to work outside – especially in the sun, which I loved! My photographer arrived just in time and we snapped some pics as I finished up some emails. There’s nothing better than multitasking amiright?!

When I got to a good stopping point in my work, I continued to explore the area and by the time I finally headed home, I was feeling extra inspired. It’s so nice to break the routine every once in a while and explore. It’s easy to get caught up in work, but I’m making it a point to focus on that balance. Plus a good break usually leaves me feeling more excited to work. Can’t wait for my next inspiring adventure.

Where do you get your inspiration?
