Earlier this week, I talked about layering a sweater on top of a dress as a great way to transition your clothes from summer to fall. Well I’m doing it again today, but with totally different vibes. I got last year and have worn it a few different ways, but this time I decided to pair it with for my new favorite color combination: blush and wine.
Isn’t it the best? I feel like this is the kind of outfit that perfectly transitions from day to night. The dress is a super tight bodycon, so the sweater layered on top also means I don’t have to suck in 24/7. Hallelujah.
I almost went with a smaller clutch for this look, but ultimately decided on this bag (). I mean, can you blame me? It’s amazing and I can’t stop wearing it! The ankle boots are also super on trend for fall. I love the pointed toe and the tassel on the back is such a great detail. Can’t wait to see how else I can style this color combo this season. You can expect to see this hat (super sale version ) again soon!
What’s your favorite color combination right now?

I love wearing a dress like this too!! It’s almost like you get double duty from it—as a dress and as a skirt!!
Gorgeous!

I’ve never thought to wear my short sleeve dresses like this. Thanks for the idea. I shall be trying this during the winter.
