I remember I was doing a collaboration this past fall for another website and I wanted to wear a pink coat as a fall essential. The editor refused. “This should be what you’d wear for fall. A pink coat is more spring.” Not for me. Pink and blush tones are year round in my book. Though I do tend to stick to neutrals, pink is the one color I always say yes to.

And winter is no exception. I think soft blush is beautiful for winter and though the weather here isn’t your typical winter, I’d still wear the shade in the pouring snow. I paired my blush blazer with one of my favorite striped tops (last seen here) and some black skinnies (seen here last month). Disclaimer: the bag is not mine. I got it as a Christmas gift for my sister and it’s taking all the power in my not to steal it for myself. I love it so much! Finally, I added some bling with my favorite art deco inspired necklace and some fun sophistication with the white pointed heels.

I felt like a total boss bitch in this look. See, blazers can totally be fun! And pink can be worn in the colder months. 😉

Do you like wearing blush pink in the winter?
