Boho Winter

Wow, I can’t believe it: winter is finally here! We’re kicking off 2016 with some cooler weather and I’m totally ok with it…for now at least. I’ve had fun finally wearing some of my new winter wear, like . Does it look familiar? I got it in and loved it so much that I had to get this one. They didn’t have my size, but I just sized up for a looser fit. I’m totally loving it!
At first I wasn’t sure how to style this sweater. I wanted something fresh and different, but it’s so hard not to pair an oversized top with skinnies or leggings. After browsing my closet for a few minutes, I decided to go boho and paired it with some super comfy and a floppy hat. I was feelin’ totally in this look even though none of the pieces were actually from there – ha!
After snapping some photos, I took a stroll through the local botanical gardens for some alone time and reflected on 2015. Anyone else love alone time? I totally need it to keep my sanity.
How do you style oversized sweaters?

Love this look Megan! I always style my oversized sweaters over leggings (lazy me!) but this looks fab! I’ll have to try it!

Sweater? What sweater? I want those jeans NOW. I did actually post an oversized sweater outfit yesterday though! Haha. I did simple flare jeans as well, though mine were black (not because I like black jeans but because they were the only color flare jeans – or flare jeans at all – I could find in town. smh)
I need to style a burgundy floppy hat (just because I bought it and want to, not a PR thing) so it’s fun to see what other people do with theirs.

Haha, I have the exact same sweater and it’s been one of my favourite things to wear this winter! I love how you got creative and gave it a boho flair! It definitely does look Free People. 😉
I usually just wear my oversized sweaters with jeggings, ankle boots, and a hat. 🙂
