brands that are giving back to healthcare workers, brands that are giving back during covid

It’s safe to say that we are all struggling right now. Whether you’ve been personally affected by a family member being sick with COVID, have had a loss in income, are an essential worker risking your life daily, or so many other things. I admit I feel lucky to have the luxury of being able to stay safe at home on a daily basis, so I’ve been trying to figure out a way to give back. During that process, I came across a few brands that are doing their part to give back. I thought it would be a great way to support by purchasing through those brands! If you’d like to do the same, check out the brands below!

1. Dearfoams
This one is especially exciting to me because I love slippers. I have a few pairs and I wear them all day every day! I just ordered some from Dearfoams because get this, they have a buy one give on program. For every pair of slippers that is purchased, they’ll give a pair to a healthcare worker!

2. Monday Night Brewing
Monday Night Brewing is a local brewery here in Atlanta that is still covering no contact curbside pickup, but the best part about it is they’re giving away free six-packs to healthcare workers and other essential workers during this time. Each week is a different industry, so check out their Instagram post about it here. Check out your local breweries – they might be doing the same!

3.
This incredibly stylish clothing brand is doing their part by to Baby2Baby, a nonprofit organization that provides basic essentials – such as diapers, wipes, formula, clothing & more – to children living in poverty and families impacted by COVID-19. They also designed a custom t-shirt from which 100% of profits will be donated to Baby2Baby. If you’re looking for a little retail therapy (I know I am!) check them out. And an added perk – they’re having a 25% off sale right now with code bashfamily. I’ve shared some of my favorites below!

4. S’Edge – Use code LUSH for a special discount!
S’EDGE has turned they manufacturing factory into a mask-making factory for the foreseeable future. They’re even working with the FDA on medical-grade masks, but until that is finalized they are making fashion protective mask (non-surgical) for the general public. How fab! My mask is in the mail and I’ll be sure to share on stories as soon as it gets here! They’re also donating 10% of proceeds to Joni & Friends and Wheels for the World- an organization that donates wheelchairs to people around the world who don’t have access to mobility. Disabled people are at high risk of becoming extremely ill from COVID-19 and this organization is working to protect them and give them the resources they need during this trying time.

5. Bacardi
Not only has Bacardi dedicated their distillery to making hand sanitizer, but they have also pledged to donate $3 million in aid and other support to those in the bar and restaurant industry. This might be the greatest contribution I’ve seen anywhere. On top of that, I was supposed to have a campaign with them for St. Patrick’s Day and even though they had to postpone, they still paid me. I will always and forever be a fan of Bacardi!

6.
The Bouqs is a great fresh flower delivery service giving a 25% discount to all healthcare workers and their families. They have great promos for Mother’s Day as well so it’s the perfect time to support a company that is doing what they can to give back to healthcare workers!

I LOVE a good Vital Proteins powder, shot, water, everything! So I was excited to hear that they donated 30,000 collagen water bottles to places in need including medical centers. I drink their in my coffee every morning and take their and regularly. This stuff works wonders and I know those essential workers are in need of a little beauty and vitamin help now more than ever!

I would love to add more to this list! Please share any brands that you know of that are giving back during this time!
