I am so excited to share the first video for my new YouTube channel! I’ve wanted to do videos for a long time so I am finally forcing myself to stop being scared and just go for it! This video was filmed all over California – from wine country and San Francisco to the beaches of sunny LA. Johnny of course made the whole thing and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I just wish he could have been in it!

If you haven’t seen my photos from Napa yet, take a look here. Johnny and I went for the weekend with one of my best friends Arielle and her fiancé. We went to three wineries: Rombauer Vineyard, Sherwin Family Winery, and a castle. Rombauer definitely had the best wine, but the best atmosphere by far was the Sherwin Family Winery. It was set up in a home. You walk into the kitchen where a Sherwin family friend greets you and chats it up. She explained the first bottle of wine to us and then told us to pick a seat on the patio. We had our own table on the side of the house overlooking the vineyard. It was incredibly peaceful.

Our last stop was the castle. I was so excited, but as we drove up, I could tell it wasn’t for me. I felt like I was at an amusement park and everyone agreed. It was overcrowded and there were children running around everywhere. I don’t have anything against kids, but that’s not really the atmosphere I’m going for when I’m on a weekend trip to wine country. We stayed positive and got in line for the tasting only to find out 3 tastings and a cheese plate (with 4 bites of cheese) would be $150. Johnny doesn’t drink, but that didn’t matter; he would have to pay the same price for the grape juice tasting. Um, no thank you.

We went back to the bed and breakfast we were staying at and relaxed on the beautiful property. The next day we decided to stop by San Fran before our flight out. It was so amazing to be able to see the city, even if it was just for a couple hours!

When we got back to LA, we beached it up every day. Those posts were already shared here and here, but I hope you enjoyed seeing a little bit more in the video!

Have you ever been to California? Where is your favorite place to visit on the west coast?
