Let me just preface this post by saying Capri is now my favorite place in the world. I havenโ€™t been many places, but this one is the most beautiful and wonderful town I have ever been to.

After one night in Naples, we took a ferry to the island of Capri. Capri is what I was most looking forward to during this trip. Iโ€™ve seen tons of photos of celebrities (Beyonce was there at the same time as me!) and travel bloggers there and have always dreamt of going myself. The little island was full of visitors, but since itโ€™s not peak travel season, it wasnโ€™t too crowded, which was nice.

We took a cab to the main town square right after we got off the boat โ€“ I wouldnโ€™t recommend this. We paid 20 euros for a short 10 minute ride when we could have easily just taken the cable car for under 2 euros per person. Oh well, lesson learned! We had to walk to rest of the way to our Airbnb since cars are not allowed on most of the streets where the homes are located, which made it very quiet and peaceful. After the long trek, we got settled in then ventured off for more pizza, as we did every night in Capri.

My favorite restaurant on the island (and all of Italy, actually) was Il Capri. The view was so incredible and the food was even better. I also had the best wine I had during my entire Italian adventure when I was here. I ordered a glass of rosรฉ, thinking the price on the menu was the price for a bottle. It ended up being 30 euros for one glass, but it was seriously worth it.

One evening during our stay in Capri, we took a private sunset cruise around the island. This was probably my favorite part of the trip. We got to see everything, from Faraglioni to the blue and green grottos. It was so stunningly gorgeous!

When our 3 heavenly Capri days were over, I was so sad to leave. But since we were heading to Positano the next day, it was all ok. More on that tomorrow!

Have you ever been to Capri? What was your favorite part of the Italian island?
