While most of my fellow bloggers are living it up at fashion week, I’m relaxing and unwinding in Aruba. It’s funny, I’ve been out of the country for every fashion week for the past few years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. For some reason, I’m always drawn to have a last little summer hurrah around this time every year. I think it helps me accept that summer is coming to an end so that I can fully embrace fall!
So a few months ago, I was invited to a press event for the Aruba Marriott where I won in bingo and got a 3-night stay at the hotel! Since I had never been to Aruba, I knew I had to take the opportunity. It worked out perfectly that my bestie’s birthday was coming up, so I invited her for the perfect girls weekend and we had a blast! I’ll have a full travel guide coming soon, but until then, I wanted to share my amazing new pink leopard one piece.
I got this gorgeous on sale a while back and now it’s actually even more on sale and a total steal! The quality is the best I’ve ever had in a swimsuit and it can totally double as a top with some white jeans or a fab skirt! It has a slight shimmer that is just so so pretty in the sun.
We spent the day lounging on the beach, hitting the bar for the local Aruban beer, Chill, and then had a dance party by the pool. I felt so chic all day in this fab suit and had so much fun. It was the perfect kick-off to the trip!

As much as fashion week seems like a lot of fun ….i would totally rather be chillin and not deal with the stress ….plus every year watching everyones stories …..it all seems sooooo clique-ish …..NO THANKS

Right!? That’s exactly how I feel!! I definitely love seeing the new trends, but I’d prefer to see them online from the comfort of my living room lol

Wow, Aruba looks amazing! I’ve been to NYFW once and once was enough for me. If I had the chance to go to Aruba I’d totally take it! How cool that you won some free nights there! Also, you look amazing in this swimsuit!

Ummm can we just take a second to admire that swimsuit a little longer? It’s 110% amazing! I can see why you love it so much! It’s great how one-pieces are perfect to wear from the beach to wherever you end up afterwards, just with the quick addition of shorts or a skirt! They’re so versatile!

Your pink colored leopard print one piece swim suit looks very cute and beautiful with blue water. It is great that it can be used as a top on white jeans or any denim skirt.
