Clarins Double Serum Review

A few weeks ago, I started using Clarins Double Serum to even out my skin tone, minimize pores, and ward off those pesky fine lines. Along with my new serum, I participated in Clarins’ #30daysofbeautiful Instagram challenge, which was simply to post any photo that represents beauty. I uploaded photos of flowers, coffee and other things. It really made me more aware of all the beauty that we are surrounded by each day.
The challenge forced me to wake up and appreciate what’s in front of me every day. And it had an impact on my use of Clarins Double Serum as well. What makes skin beautiful is putting in that extra step to really care for and pamper yourself, which is what I feel every time I use Clarins Double Serum. What makes us beautiful isn’t perfect skin; it’s confidence and genuine happiness–without having to worry about those little crow’s feet when we laugh.
Clarins Double Serum has rehydrated my skin to help me keep those fine lines at bay. I’m not at the stage where I have to worry about wrinkles just yet, but it’s definitely smart to take care of my skin so I can avoid it as long as possible. But sometimes they do show up if my skin gets too dry(which happens more often than I’d like)! I’ve also noticed a more even, smoother looking skin.
Overall, I’m happy with the results! I will say though that this product is a serum, so it might not work with all skin types. My skin is a little drier than average, so it was great for me.
Have you ever used Clarins Double Serum? How do you define beauty?

I need to try this serum! I have extremely dry skin and uneven skin tone so this sounds like the perfect solution! I’m actually headed to Sephora after work so I definitely need to at least get a sample! Thanks for sharing!!

Let me know what you think! It’s so important to start warding off wrinkles before they get bad!

serum is awesome!! I use a serum that my dermatologist gave me but it’s great because it’s not thick and greasy.
I see beauty every morning by looking at the palm trees outside my house 🙂

Clarins definitely feels oil based, so I know what you mean. It doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy all day or anything though, so that’s good!

I haven’t ever used this before. Defining beauty is a little difficult to reduce to words ~ whew! Maybe I can say that just one aspect of beauty is relative to the beholder’s eye and beholder’s heart. What might be absolute beauty to 99% of the world might be offensive to that one person. Wow, that’s a deep one for sure!

I love my Clarins serum!! It’s one of the few luxury products I use and I’m obsessed with it. At first I used it morning and night but that was a little much so I use it in the evening now.

I haven’t tried that particular serum, but I’m a big believer in serums and skincare products in general. It’s been a while since I’ve used Clarins. Gotta revisit them soon!

Great review. I love that the challenge made you look at the world differently and see the small blessings in your life. I think you are right, I guess the things that we spend time on, things we show care for, will just look better. Such as skin. I guess one more step in the skin care regime can help to pamper yourself will have good results. 🙂

I use this Clarins Serum in the morning, and I night I use the Made from Earth Olive Night Creme. Both work well for a day / night type of deal.
