So I caved. I got a plaid check coat. Have you noticed how like literally every single blogger has one? I hate to follow suit, but I actually got this one a few months ago before they started popping up everywhere and now that it was actually cold(ish) last week, I finally got a chance to wear it. And I have to say, I love it!

I grabbed this coat the second it was cold enough to wear one and build this outfit around it. I opted for my wax-coated denim and this ivory turtleneck I got on major sale last year. To add some chic, I wore these amazing booties and finished the look off with my cateye sunnies. I don’t know what it is about these shoes, but I totally felt like a Parisian trendsetter.

This coat makes me kind of ok with the cold weather. As long as it doesn’t go below 45 and I’ve got this classic check coat, I’m good to go.
