A couple months ago, I discovered that I’m allergic to some common ingredients used in beauty products. It causes my skin to break out and because of this allergy, I’m often a little wary of trying new products. But that caution isn’t quite as strong when it comes to beauty products from Whole Foods. Just like with the foods they carry, the beauty products are very carfeully selected. In fact, Whole Foods set its own standards for organic labeling on personal care products because, get this: there are no mandatory government standards for the “organic” label claim on body care products. Did you know that?! There are actually 50 ingredients common in conventional body care products that aren’t allowed in any body care products they sell. That definitely makes me a lot more confident when it comes to trying new products!
If you’re as cautious as I am but want to try new things, then I have the perfect solution for you: the Whole Foods Beauty bag. At just $15, you can get deluxe samples and full size products. My personal faves? So glad you asked!
Burt’s Bees Sunset Cruise Lip Stick
If you’re familiar with Burt’s Bees, then you already know about how amazing moisturizing and hydrating their formula is. Well now they’ve added color and created the most perfect lipstick. Yes, please!
Acure Pore Minimizing Facial Scrub
One thing I really need to get better about is using a facial scrub regularly. Now that I have this pore minimizing facial scrub, you can bet I’ll be using it at least weekly. Anyone else have enormous pores these days?! Ugh! This stuff seems to be working so far. I’ll be sure to report back after a few months of regular use!
dermae Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask
I’ve found that charcoal and clay masks work best for my skin and this one is fab. I brought it with me to Europe and had a little girls spa night with my mom and sister. We all three–who have totally different skin–loved it!
Whole Foods will be releasing this bag tomorrow, March 18, so be sure to stop by your local store and pick one up – this is the only beauty bag release planned for 2016! Enter below to win a limited time bag in association with Whole Food’s Beauty Week (March 16-22)!

I can’t even tell what size my pores are. Or which ones they are. Is that the part of my face that looks like a colander? (I googled them. Never google pore. I think I’m gonna be sick.) Um. I also had no idea Whole Foods sold makeup. Learn something every day!

These products look great! I’ve had an issue with break outs being very common lately, maybe I need to watch my ingredients, too! I’ll have to check these out.
