coco plum beach exuma bahamas, swing in water, swing in ocean, swings on the beach

One of the most instagrammable places in all of The Bahamas is Coco Plum Beach. So obviously you know I had to check it out. We actually discovered it on Instagram, which is super fitting. We found it because of the swings in the ocean, and it was just as amazing as you would imagine.

Coco Plum Beach beach is about 20-30 minutes outside of Georgetown. Since I was visiting The Bahamas with the tourism board, we had a set itinerary we had to follow during our visit. But Coco Plum beach was a stop we insisted on adding. And I’m so glad we did! Not only for the photo opp, but just because it was so much fun!

Even getting there was an adventure. GPS is spotty and there are no street signs (there are actually no stop lights on Exuma at all!), but we got directions from a local. We were told to follow the main road–yes, there’s just one in Exuma–and turn right when we saw the blue garbage bin. Turns out, those were definitely the best directions! If you’re going, the blue bin is actually concrete. Just follow that street and the beach is at the end of the road!
