Cozy Valentine’s Day

Scrolling through my Bloglovin’ feed, I’ve come across tons of the typical Valentine’s Day looks: date night, girls night, sweet, sexy, the list goes on. But I haven’t quite seen anything I’d actually wear (aka something comfy and warm), so after having brunch with a blogger friend last weekend I decided to snap some pics for an outfit post. It wasn’t until I looked at the photos that I realized this could totally be a cozy Valentine’s Day look.
I’m not one for wearing red or pink from head to toe and I suspect that there are lots of people out there who feel the same, so tying in some red in the boots is the perfect touch. The fluffy jacket is so warm and cozy, yet soft and feminine, making it great for any Vday occasion, whether it be date night, girls night, or wine-and-chocolate-in-bed night 😉

I stuck with a simple and clean all black foundation with my turtleneck and pants and then added the boots for color, the jacket for some brightness & warmth, and the bag for a sophisticated print. I was super warm and cozy, yet I felt very chic. What more can you ask for on a chilly winter day?
What are your Valentine’s Day plans?

I love the color palette of this look! Plus that coat looks so warm and cozy. My boyfriend and I are planning a night in cooking dinner and baking dessert. I think it will be a lot more fun than going out:) I’ll still pull out my red dress though

Thank you! It actually does a good job of keeping me warm. I totally think a night in is the way to go! But still getting dressed makes it extra special 🙂 🙂

Those boots are beautiful! I love this practical and realistic Valentine’s Day look. I couldn’t agree more, it may look cute but you’re not going to have a good time if you’re dressed for the wrong season and freezing.
