I don’t know why, but I love sweaters and shorts together. I think I love the coziness of sweaters, so challenging myself to wear them year-round is kind of fun. It was definitely easy with this one though. This gorgeous is made for summertime, complete with fringe, bell sleeves, and a pretty, semi-open-back pattern: all of my favorite things!

I did contemplate wearing a printed bandeau bra with this sweater, and you could totally do that, but I’m more of a free the nip kind of girl. The front is totally not see through at all, for the record. Anyway, I didn’t want to detract from the pretty cutouts in the back of the sweater. I love a good detail like this, especially in the back! I layered on a few necklaces for some embellishment and wore my for a cool factor. I went with since the outfit was so casual. I think it really elevated the whole look (see what I did there? Hilarious, I know)!

Before I ran out the door, I grabbed this cute little bag I got at a market in Mexico City. I was inspired because I wore this outfit out to dinner and drinks at a Mexican restaurant with my friend Courtney. I have to say, it was perfecto. Tequila was the final accessory this look was missing so I had to complete the look, right?!
