Dinner & Drinks in Miami

I’m not much of a partier these days, but I do like to go out and socialize. My ideal night includes dinner and drinks, which is exactly what I did each night during my amazing weekend getaway to Miami. The best night by far was my night dining at J&G Grill in the St. Regis.
The meal started with the chef coming to our table and offering to serve us his selections for the night. I was thrilled – what a fun surprise! I told him I’m a vegetarian and I love cheese. He couldn’t have picked better things to serve us. It was by far the best meal of my life. Since I didn’t know what I would be eating, I also got a wine pairing. The sommelier was great at explaining each selection for each course. It was fabulous!
The first course was the black truffle pizza. It was the most delicious thing I have ever eaten in my life. I cannot get over how good that pizza was. So incredible! That was followed by burrata and a colorful plate of different tomatoes. Finally for the main course we had fresh ravioli with vegetables. There were actually 2 dessert courses – both amazing!
For the night I wore my newest maxi from Calypso St. Barth. Their newest arrivals are so gorgeous. I actually picked up this dress while I was in Miami. I also fell in love with this bathing suit, but sadly my size was sold out in the bottoms. All in all it was a perfect night. I can’t wait to go back to the St. Regis Bal Harbour where I will definitely be eating at J&G Grill again!
