My Easy Summer Beauty Routine

I like to reevaluate and potentially change my beauty routine at least two times a year. And as a blogger, I get countless products to try out, but I have sensitive skin, so finding products I love is tough. And finding products that I can travel with is even harder since I never check a bag. Luckily, I partnered with Olay to try out their newย 4-in-1 Olay Daily Facials and I think I’ve found my new summer cleansing routine.

Olay Daily Facials are facial cloths, but they’re different from the makeup remover wipes we’re all used to. First of all, they aren’t wet. Second of all, the material is more like a softย mesh than a wipe, which is great for exfoliating. How they work is you run water over them to get a lather. Then you use it as you would if you were washing your face with a washcloth. I like to press it to my face for a few seconds before wiping my face clean. You can then rinse the soap off, and then you’re done! Superย quick and easy, but also effective.

The Olay Daily Facials are 4-in-1: they cleanse, tone, exfoliate, and hydrate. I love this for at home, but I also really love it for travel. I only bring carry-ons (can’t risk losing all my stuff!), so all the liquids I bring can only be up to 3.3oz. That means I have to either buy a bunch of mini cleansers, toners, exfoliators, moisturizers, etc. OR I have to buy little containers and transfer all my stuff into those. And then risk them spilling all over my clothes. And probably get them mixed up once I get to my destination. Fun fact: I accidentally “washed” my hair with body wash when I was in Mexico. It did not turn out well.

But with Olay Daily Facials, I can just take out the exact number of cleansingย cloths I’ll need and take them with me wherever I go. What a space saver! I like these compared to makeup remover wipes because I always feel the need to rinse my face after using facial wipes. With these, it takes the same amount of time, but the benefits are 4x those of makeup remover wipes. It’s important to remember that these cloths lather up unlike wipes, so be sure to keep your eyes closed when you’re using them! I made that mistake and got soap in my eye. Oops!
