Whether you’re participating in Dry January or just trying to be a little healthier, I have the tastiest mocktail for a luxurious evening at home or a night with the girls: the Elderflower Rose Mocktail. I personally am participating in Dry January this year and it’s already been a struggle – ha! But I honestly feel like it’s hard at first simply because we get in the habit of a glass of wine with dinner or a pour of bourbon while watching Succession (just me?). But to tell you the truth, abstaining from alcohol has been a great way for me to jumpstart the healthy habits I’m aiming to make this year.
Obviously this mocktail can be made a cocktail pretty easily. I would suggest adding gin or vodka. And I’m sure I will once January is over. Maybe for Valentine’s Day? Oh and pro tip: if you don’t have enough time to freeze the rose petals inside the ice cube, simply remove ice cube from tray, place rose petals strategically, and add a touch of water. Place the ice cube back in its place and it back in the freezer. In about 5 minutes you’ll have some rose ice cubes!

Ah! This is perfect for dry January or for anyone who doesn’t want to add alcohol. I don’t think I’ve ever had one with elderflower in it. I need to try this out. The pics are sooooo lovely, too!

Color me fascinated! I am totally interested in making this drink for myself now. I’m participating in Dry January (my husband and I do that and Dry July every year) and definitely missing my evening glass of red wine or occasional cocktail. A yummy, unique mocktail sounds right up my alley!

Oooh two times a year? Good for you!! Yes, I think thatβs the hardest part. Itβs such a habit to have a glass of wine or a pour of bourbon in the evenings! This mocktail totally helps. It feels indulgent and special!

I wasn’t planning to participate in dry January but it’s ending up that way– I haven’t had a sip of an alcoholic drink (even beer or wine!) since NYE. This recipe sounds delicious and includes so many of my favorite flavors. I love elderflower and rose– I’m off to hunt down that sparkling bitters drink now!
