Exploring Los Angeles

While I was in LA for Lucky FABB, I decided to make the most of it by coming a little early and leaving a little late. I was in California for one week, so I was able to explore a little. We went to see the best views in LA, according to our friend; stood in front of the Hollywood sign for photos; and walked around Hollywood, where I got to see Britney Spears’ star on the Walk of Fame. I love traveling, but I don’t necessarily like doing the touristy things, so this was a nice little bit of tourism, but led by a local – the perfect mix.
The weather here was surprisingly chilly the first few days I was in LA. When I left Atlanta, it was 75 degrees and upon arrival in LA, it was 55 degrees. WTF, right?! But it did eventually warm up and it was still nice in the sun those cooler days. So for my first day of exploring in LA, I went with this breezy green tank with scalloped edges, my favorite white jeans, comfy wedges and a little pop of color with my new go-to earrings.

Have you ever explored LA? Where did you go?

Thanks!! 🙂 I went to LA when I was younger too and did the touristy things, so it was cool to do something else this time! I’d definitely love to visit San Diego. I really want to go to San Francisco too!

Absolutely gorgeous, Megan! Your trip sounds like the perfect mix, I like the idea of doing touristy things with a local. I’m not much for the whole tourist trips.

The back of that top is fabulous! And I love the earrings. I went to LA once when I was little, but I don’t really remember it. I would love to go back some day. Maybe for next year’s LuckyFABB!

I was born in Santa Monica so I grew up around those sights… I probably didn’t appreciate them enough since it wasnt anything out of the ordinary for me…

I love Santa Monica! I know what you mean though, I’m from Florida and I never appreciated the beach much!
