Wow, I can’t believe 2014 is almost over already! Looking back on the year, I am so incredibly happy to have had so many amazing experiences with some truly wonderful people. Though it’s pretty much impossible, I’ve attempted to round up some of my favorite posts of 2014. These are definitely in no order.
1. A New Venture: Adorn Media Group
This year, I started a new full service media agency with my friend and fellow blogger, Lauren of Fashionably Lo. So far we’ve gotten some major national brands on board to connect with our bloggers. Not only are we proud of the success we’ve seen, but we’ve also had so much fun doing it. I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue working on this business with Lauren!
2. A Darling Flower Child
This has to be one of my favorite memories of 2014. My boyfriend Johnny and I went over to Serenbe (a self-sustained farm community about an hour south of Atlanta) for a little festival complete with booths from local artisans and tasty food trucks. On our way back, we passed this gorgeous field of flowers. We stopped without question and snapped some photos as we played in the sun.
3. Goat Cheese Baked Brie with Crushed Almond Crust
This recipe is by far the best tasting treat I have ever made. I tasted brie for the first time this year and I am never going back. There is literally nothing better on this earth. I made my own version with some goat cheese and it was just as delicious. I make this thing at least twice a month these days. SO GOOD!
4. Simple & Classic
I often describe my style as clean, classic and simple. I don’t do much with trends or accessories and less is more in my opinion. So looks like these tend to be my favorite. A simple striped top, jeans and a trench is such a fabulous combo that is totally underrated in my opinion.
5. Blog Talk: Why WordPress is Better than Blogger
I’m busy switching people from Blogger to WordPress nearly every weekend. More and more people are switching over to WordPress and I couldn’t be more supportive of the choice. Read all about the reasons I love WordPress & more in my Blog Talk series, which I’ll definitely be continuing in 2015!

I will definitely have to read up on why WordPress is better. I know a lot of people feel that way but I wasn’t sure what the difference was. Hope you have a great New Year’s!

It is SO much better! I can’t even believe Blogger is still up and running! It doesn’t even compare to WordPress.

Girl, you are a true inspiration! I hope to start my own business someday and I’ve never stopped admiring you for taking the leap and becoming a full-time blogger and creating your own company. I can’t wait to see what 2015 brings you!

Aw, you’re so sweet! You definitely can do it. If I can do it, anyone can! You just have to work your ass off 😉
