Ever since I got my cute little $1 bow at target, I have been obsessing over bows. But now that I think about it, I went through a bow obsession around this time last year too. For some reason, I think it has to do with the weather. During the wintertime, I’m more reserved and covered up (obviously), so I tend to gravitate towards preppy attire. In the spring, I’m colorful and play with prints, in the summer I’m totally a hippie boho girl and in the fall I’m a slave to trends.

But anyway, back to the point. Bows add a cute touch of playful sophistication. They can be worn on shoes, bags, belts, hair, whatever! It’s so funny to me that the two things that come to mind when I think of bows is little girls and sophistication; they’re such opposite things, yet suit both of these extreme ends of the spectrum.
