Although a lot of people might be a little more careful about what they’re eating due to spring being so close (yay!), I’m a firm believer in the idea that deprivation suuuucks. So, I still have my favorite indulgences year ’round (moderation is key, people). And one of those favorites is cookies.
1. Cookie Chips: I recently discovered these sweet treats and ever since then, I have been addicted. With so many tasty flavors, there’s something for everyone. They’re the perfect bite in the morning with coffee and for dessert at night. My personal choice is the cinnamon and the dark chocolate. Yum!*
2. Chocolate Chip Chickpea Cookies: I am obsessed with chickpeas, so anything involving them is delicious to me, but cookies? I’ll admit, it sounds weird, but my bestie swears by chickpea cookies, so I’m down to try it. Anyone want to comment on these bad boys?
3. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip: First of all, everything on this blog is amazing and the girl behind it is just as sweet as her recipes (Don’t believe me? Ask any of her 89,000 Instagram followers. Yeah.). But also, this gluten free, low calorie Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip is perfect for staying healthy AND indulging. Total win-win!
4. XK Macarons: If you’re in the Atlanta area, then you’ve likely heard of this sweet little company. A regular at any creative or hip gathering, XK Macarons cookies are unique and delicious. The lady behind the brand, Xanna Kidd, taught herself how to make this popular dessert and I must say, she did an amazing job!
Are you a cookie lover too? What is your favorite cookie related thing?

The chocolate chip chickpea cookies have piqued my curiosity, I would love to try these. We are a cookie loving family. While we (my family) usually agree on the cookies we make, we do not agree on their outcome. A few of us like them gooey, some in between, but my son and I like them thinner and crunchy.

I can totally relate! I like them a little gooey, but crunchy ones are good with coffee 🙂

I am so there with you that depravation sucks, it sucks bad, and never works for me since I then indulge WAY to much. So I agree that indulging, in moderation, is fantastic! I am a sucker for cookies as well, and have recently discovered Brownie Brittle. http://browniebrittle.com/. I found it in Babies R Us of all places while shopping for my 6 month old daughter, and LOVE THEM! They are now a staple in my house 🙂 I have never tried Chocolate Chip Chickpea Cookies, but am down to make them and say I have tried them, and will probably like them! I am checking out the recipe and will be making them. Thanks for the delicious post!
