Favorite Things: Delicate Jewelry

Jewelry is one of my favorite parts of styling. You can wear the same outfit twice, but completely change the look of it just by wearing different jewelry. And one of my favorite types of jewelry is the dainty, delicate kind. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good statement necklace, but there’s just something special about those delicate jewels.
First of all, they’re great for layering. Mixing and matching different simple jewelry to match your mood can be really satisfying. Delicate jewels are also great for when you’re on the go or running late (which if I’m being honest, is far too often for me!). They typically go with pretty much anything. I also feel like I can wear a lot more pieces at once when they’re delicate and still not feel gaudy or over accessorized. I love piling on stacks of simple rings or layers of several necklaces! So I decided to round up a few of my favorite delicate jewelry so you all can score them for yourself.

The two necklaces are from local favorite Crafts & Love, which is full of beautifully designed handmade jewelry. I can’t get enough of this store and actually own both of the necklaces shown here! The ring and the bracelet are from a store that I recently discovered called Jewel Jam. I have the bracelet and have been eyeing the ring for a while. This store carries stunning designer jewels, as well as a collection of affordable essentials. And stay tuned, there just might be a giveaway in the works!

love the delicate pieces of jewelry, i am not one for bulky pieces, not that i haven’t had some but just not my favorite, i just find i am more comfortable and relaxed with tiny pieces hehe thanks for share @tisonlyme143

I cannot agree with you more, I love a good statement necklace but I wear my delicate jewelry everyday. My favorite pieces are from some little boutiques in PA like Nancy Jane’s Jewelry (http://www.nancyjanesjewelry.com/), Toni’s Toe Rings (http://www.perfectfittoerings.com/), or this recently discovered designer Marly Moretti (http://www.marlymoretti.com/).

I love delicate jewelry! Like you, I like how dainty it looks. I’ve never thought of layering them though! Now I want to try it. I love simple stud earrings and simple bracelets. They’re just so cute.

I wear minimal jewelry and I admit that I don’t consider myself wearing delicate jewelry but I really love the necklaces and would definitley wear them!

I am really starting to get into delicate jewelery (I use to be so worried about losing or tearing such delicate pieces of jewelery) but I cannot resist no more! I will just have to be more careful I guess. These are such pretty picks! I especially love the initial necklace.

Yes, you definitely have to be careful with it! It can easily get tangled or lost. I am still trying to figure out the best way to store and organize it!
