Atlanta, local favorites, shopping, marriott pop up, travel brilliantly, young blood boutique, eco denizen, crafted westide, Shop Small Pop Up

Ever since I moved to Atlanta, I’ve loved shopping local. All the other cities I lived in had basically zero locally owned shops, but I am so excited that Atlanta is full of them. So many of my favorite items come from locals who hand make pieces from scratch. And I must not be the only lover of locally made products, because the Marriott downtown is actually having a Shop Small Pop Up shop from now through November 30th for their Travel Brilliantly campaign in partnership with American Express. So often we travel and see only the major tourist attractions while a vibrant local creative scene bustles in lesser known neighborhoods. But Marriott and American Express are seeking to change that. They’re hosting pop ups in Atlanta and Boston featuring goods exclusively from local shops. I couldn’t be more on board with that concept!

For Atlanta’s pop up, American Express & Marriott are featuring Young Blood Gallery and Boutique, Blabla Kids, Eco Denizen, Crafted Westside and TRIO Custom Clothiers. I’ve been a long time fan of Young Blood (ok, maybe not that long since I just moved here 2 years ago but seriously, ever since I heard about the place) and now I’m excited to be introduced to the other local brands. I’ve browsed all the items available at the pop up and curated my faves.

1. RIFLE PAPER CO. PASSPORT NOTEBOOKS young blood boutique
I’ve been a fan of Rifle Paper Co. since I discovered them at Target one day last year. The notebooks are always so cute, and I just love these travel-inspired designs! Perfect for a hotel pop up, right?! Set of 2 unruled pocket notebooks: $10.00

2. NAPA SOAP eco denizen
These soaps are handmade with wine. How awesome is that?! This would be the perfect gift for that wine loving lady in your life. Honey Please Pass the Soap: $11.00

3. EPIPHANY BAR eco denizen
So everyone loves chocolate, right? Well, to tell you the truth, I don’t love it as much as most people, but this one just sounds amazing, especially the coffee one!. Chocolates in Sea Salt, Coffee with Cardamom & Cinnamon and Aztec Aphrodisiac: $6.75

4. DEER PRINT crafted westside
When I was little, one of my favorite movies was Bambi. Since then, I’ve always loved deers and thought they were so cute. I was even a deer for halloween last year! This print would be so cute in an office or studio space. Morgan Kendall Deer Print, 8×8: $18.00

5. SYDNEY HALE SOY CANDLE young blood boutique
I think everyone knows by now that I am obsessed with candles. I have one burning pretty much 24/7. But candles are especially cozy in the winter time, so it’s perfect timing to grab one of these soy candles at the pop up shop. Candles made with soy wax always last so much longer than the alternative. Definitely worth the extra cash! Premium soy wax blend, double coGon wick in floral and earthy tones – $28.00

I’d also like to mention that this week is your last chance to grab anything from my collaboration with all time favorite local shop Crafts & Love! Our Autumn Garden collection will no longer be available after Friday at midnight, so be sure to hop on over to the site and grab your fave pieces before they’re gone forever! Plus use code itsawrap for 20% off your order! Score!

What are some of your favorite local shops?

And don’t forget to visit the Shop Small Pop Up before it ends on November 30!
