As you might know, I spent this past weekend in New York City, my favorite city in the world (so far, at least). I went for a collaboration campaign with Guess (keep a lookout for that post!), but stayed the full weekend to work on more blog stuff and spend time with friends. We had such an amazing time and the weather wasn’t as bad as I expected.

For our Saturday adventures, I wore my fuzzy Free People sweater & my Free People coat. The coat provided the perfect amount of warmth for the 45 degree weather and I mean, look at the sweater. It is by far my favorite piece in my wardrobe right now. I love it! We strolled around the city then headed to Brooklyn to check out my friend Ashley’s apartment in Fort Greene.

It was so nice to just explore and not have to worry about any responsibilities for the day. At sunset we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge before heading back to the city for pizza. It was perfect!

How would you spend a fall day in NYC?

P.S. If you’re in the Atlanta area, be sure to check out Free People’s newest location at the Avalon in Alpharetta – it’s fab!
