This past weekend, I took a break from family time to celebrate my best friend Arielle’s bachelorette weekend in Chicago. It was my first real experience in the city and it was a blast! It was actually really nice to get away for a little bit and try to think about something else for a day or two.

We got in on Thursday and since we were going to walk around for a little bit before dinner, I wanted to wear something for a day in the windy city. I went with this floral dress (worn as a shirt, obviously) and these simple striped shorts. I definitely ended up needing the white denim jacket. Although it was 75 degrees, it definitely felt so much colder! Must be the wind, right?

That night, we went to dinner at Sienna Tavern. Hands down the best place we went to the whole weekend! Everything was so delicious and we had such an amazing time. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend! If you follow me on Snapchat (@lushtoblush), you caught a bit of the debauchery, but it’s definitely one of those weekends where what happens at the bachelorette, stays at the bachelorette.
