Florida Wedding Weekend

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I was in Florida this weekend. One of my friends from high school got married and I made the trip down there to attend the wedding. On top of the wedding, it was also my birthday, so it really was a weekend full of celebrations! At the same time though, it’s really hitting me that we’re getting older and growing up. Kind of scary. My friend Gina is married now and I’m almost 30! Ah!
Anyway, for the wedding/my birthday I wore my new . I am in love with this dress. The cut and embellishments made it perfect for the semi-formal occasion. To show off the neck, I wanted to do a little something with my hair, but since I’m not really an up-do kind of girl, I opted for a side pony.
We didn’t bring a DSLR on the trip, so please excuse the iPhone photos. Johnny did bring a film camera, so I will definitely post those as soon we get them back. He’s experimenting with film and it’s really cool – I love how the photos look! Hopefully we got some good ones. I won’t know until we get the film developed. We had a really great time and are so happy for Gina and Bart!

It was my first time there and I loved it! It was pretty chilly on the day of too. It was in the 60s and then got down to the 40s at night!

The maxi dress you worn was very pretty. It was gorgeous on you! Love the slit up the side. Makes it more “wearable” yet still has the clean straight lines.
