As I shared in my 2015 Blogging Goals post, one of my new year’s resolutions is to start making more videos. In addition to lookbook videos & beauty tutorials, I think I’ll do a series on blogging or an Ask Megan type of series. By now you’ve probably heard the news: C.Wonder is closing its doors for good. I meant to post about this last week, but it totally slipped my mind. While it’s definitely sad, there is some good to come out of it: the entire stores is 75% off. Hurry up and grab your favorites before they’re gone! I already purchased some OTK boots, a couple sweaters and some turtlenecks. I think I might have to go back for more though! The deal is just too good not to.

OMG. I am obsessed with my new bareMinerals Biolucent Mineral Brightening Treatment. As a blogger, I rarely have to purchase beauty products for myself (seriously, the beauty products just keep piling up), but this is one purchase I did make and am so glad I did! I have only been using it for 2 days, but I have already noticed a difference. I haven’t experienced the “balling” effect some reviewers mentioned, but if you do, simply mix it with your moisturizer to solve that problem. This brightening treatment is not meant to be used in place of moisturizer; it’s an added step used as a treatment. I love it so much and I can’t wait to see how much clearer and brighter my skin looks after continued use!

As a southern girl, if there’s one thing I love more than boiled peanuts, it’s pecans. Growing up in Alabama, our entire yard would be filled with pecans, so that was always our go-to snack. Now that I live in a city, I still have that craving and I think I found the perfect place to feed that craving: Schermer Pecans. My personal favorites are the roasted salted and dark chocolate covered. Yum! Oh and they carry Elliott pecans, which clearly have to be amazing based on the name alone 😉
