Happy Halloween! I have no idea what I’m going to dress as tonight, if I even dress up at all. Any ideas?! Anyway, here are some of my favorite things of the week!
Yesterday, the Avalon in Alpharetta opened (check my insta for photos from the fun day!). There are tons of stores there, but my favorites were Free People, Calypso St. Barth, DryBar and . If you live in the Atlanta area, you must stop by!
With the holidays coming up (including my bday on 12/12! Yay!), it’s time to start dropping hints about gifts. Cuyana (where I got the bag pictured, the is from ) has this really cool new program where you can give friends and family a hint about what you want. How cute is that?! And I’m all about their “fewer, better gifts” (encouraging meaningful gifting and giving/receiving that perfect gift instead of guessing / overspending / overconsumption) theme.
Next weekend I’ll be traveling to New York for a collaboration with . I am super excited – I love that city! Be sure to follow along on Instagram & Twitter for lots of updates!
I am very seriously contemplating purchasing these . Someone talk some sense into me.
I’m also thinking about starting a video series. Is that something you’d like to see? If so, what is your favorite format to watch? Video lookbooks? Q&As? Beauty tutorials? Sounds off in the comments!

Thanks! I don’t even know all the details myself yet, but I’m super excited!! 😀 I just use my Cuyana to carry my laptop in – it works great for me!

Hmmm if I were you I would dress up as a Kardashian (always easy and chic) or Cher from Clueless. You could be an 80s workout girl, Sandy from Grease, a 1920’s flapper…so many choices!

I can talk some sense into you about the Lowland boots: BUY THEM! I’m lusting over them myself and want the beige ones — but like you, I’m trying to talk myself out of them as I really can’t afford them at the moment. They are so incredibly gorgeous, though!
Regarding videos, I would love to see films about how to become a better blogger + easy makeup tutorials of everyday looks, some party looks (nothing extreme) and also handy tips and ideas for applying/storing/buying makeup.

There is also a wine colored pair that I am dying over! But I can’t find them online. I am also worried that they won’t be tight enough on my legs and will fall down! And that’s a great idea for videos. I’ll keep that in mind! 🙂
